Criteria of vault «tsukahara» technique

Abstract

In artistic gymnastics, the complexity of competitive programs continues to increase. With the addition of new, safer vaulting table, gymnasts are attempting more difficult and dangerous vaults. Analysis of references allowed to conclude that the training process should be organized in such a way so to stimulate certain biomechanically rational directions in improvement of technical skill. The problem of improving the skilled gymnast’s technique of motion action in vaults on the changed design of the apparatus was considered by a number of specialists, but it has not yet received sufficient scientific development accounting modern biomechanical technologies. So the purpose of the research is to develop the criteria in order to evaluate the kinematic characteristics of the skilled gymnast’s technique in «Tsukahara» vault on the «vaulting table».
