dc.description.abstract The goal of this research is to determine the structure and amount of physical activity for 11-14-yearold children during curricular and extracurricular hours. Research data: the research involves 252 fifth to ninth grade students ages 11-14 (122 boys and 130 girls) from general education schools in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. A technique developed by scientists from the Framingham State University (physical activity timing) is used to evaluate the level of physical activity. Findings: low-level physical activity has been found to prevail in children of all age groups of interest during curricular and extracurricular hours. uk_UA
